The Marsovin Summer Wine Festival

July 18, 2014, 8:00pm

Hastings Gardens

On the 18th, 19th and 20th July at 8pm until 01:00am, Marsovin is planning to hold the seventh edition of their Wine Festival at Hastings gardens in Valletta. The Marsovin Summer Wine festival is set to be a wine festival with a difference. The location alone lends itself perfectly, to a walk through garden wine festival whilst enjoying the majestic views from the bastions. The event plans to have a highly cultural and entertaining concept offering a myriad of professional musicians performing daily. A few of the artists in this year’s line-up include Malta’s leading bands: Tribali, who will be performing a series of improvised jams; Red Electrick, giving an unplugged acoustic set; Airport Impressions, one of the most successful bands to have emerged locally in recent years; The Creepers, a cutting edge vintage blues band; & The New Victorians, a sister duo who are sure to strike listeners with their quirky antifolk style and uplifting harmonies, and more. Belly dancers, live acts and chill out music are amongst other attractions that we have lined up for each night of this special event. Marsovin has engaged various restaurants and caterers, to show case their cuisine offering a small but enticing selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Renowned Asian fusion restaurant - Temptasian will be manning a sushi bar, New York Best - will be offering freshly made pizza on site; Chukkas Grill will be chargrilling a variety of meats, James Caterers will be cooking a variety of freshly made pasta and last but not least Bezzina's will be preparing an array of mouthwatering traditional Maltese dishes. Marsovin is offering a selection of 30 different D.O.K and I.Ġ.T wines from grapes grown around Malta and Gozo. Though Marsovin encourages its guests to taste its extensive range of wines, it also encourages drinking in moderation and safe driving. How does it work? It’s easy, on entrance you pay a token fee of €15 and we will give you back €15 worth of wine tokens and a free Premium festival wine glass to use during the event and also to take home with you. Youths under 17 years of age are not allowed to consume any wine. So indulge your senses and be sure not to miss the Marsovin Summer Festival 2014.
